Government issued ID's tend to have generic designs. The ID could become a point of pride by way of design unique to the state’s identity.

Users may not be comfortable showing all of their information. Traditional ID’s have sensitive information such as addresses, ID numbers, and more.

Since the ID’s will exists on a personal device, there should be measures stopping a user from taking a screenshot of an ID and presenting that as a forgery.

Creating a unique identity was a big part of this project. I chose to go with a bold and modern design to represent New York. The angular shapes and bright colors help the ID’s stand out.
